Our staffing policy ensures that only qualified and high caliber professionals are entrusted with the responsibility of teaching the pupils and students. AGPS teachers are mainly self motivated and require less supervision to effectively deliver. So, we recruit a new generation of trained, prepared, and supported teachers, as a great teacher does more than impart knowledge; they are also an inspiration, a mentor, and a friend.
AGPS works closely with government bodies to understand which teacher training and support techniques are most effective, and which teacher demographics may indicate a stronger or weaker efficacy in the classroom.
Our teaching approach focuses on creating a learner-centered classroom, where teachers spend the majority of the lesson engaging with pupils/students and checking for understanding.
